From being the most terrified patient you could imagine to a confident patient all because of this surgery, from the wonderful dentist to the equally wonderful practice staff, thank you I now have a smile again all thanks to Gethin.

Great dentist, reception are helpful and lovely. Had superb service from these guys for a number of years now and wouldn't trust my teeth and my kids to be treated anywhere else. Perfect! 😁

Being coming to this practice now for over 15 years and had great service. Gethin is an excellent dentist providing good oral advice.Debbie's pleasant bubbly personality puts you at ease while she cleans your teeth. A lovely dental hygienist.A modern, clean and professional run dental surgery. Will miss coming to this practice due to moving out of the area.Many thanks to all the staff for the excellent service i have received over the years. Well done :-)

We have been using this practice for a long time. This weekend my 8yr old daughter had an accident and broke her front tooth, as you can imagine as a parent I was devastated as this is her adult tooth, it's amazing how self conscious a child of her age can be! We visited Gethin today and he has given my gorgeous girl her smile back! We are so grateful. I highly recommend this surgery!

Took me a long time to get registered for an NHS dentist but when Moorside finally had an opening I managed to get it. I was registered over the phone which was good as most places make you go in to sign a form. Then I had an appointment which gave me a breakdown of the work I needed. I have a strong fear of the dentist but they worked with me and I've started my course of treatment. I genuinely feel comfortable here and I never thought that would happen. Staff are lovely and they take your opinions into account when doing the work. Can't recommend enough!

Had a filling done here and the dentist destroyed the tooth. He drilled to far down and to close to the tooth edge. The dentist still filled the tooth a few weeks later It caused my tooth to crumble and leave sharp bit's of tooth sticking up from my gum leaving me in lots of pain. I went to another dentist who noticed the problem and explained what happened at this dentist. I needed to have my gum cut to remove the bit of tooth that was left inside and then stitched up leaving me in lot's of pain. Would never go back here again or recommend to anyone

Not having an NHS dentist, I contacted the practice as I needed emergency work on a tooth. I was very nervous but the whole team made me feel so much better with their humour and positive attitude. Throughout my visit they were all professional, kind and understanding. Thank you so much.

I chipped my tooth and despite not being a registered patient they got me in for an emergency appointment really quickly and fixed it in around a 15 minute appointment and with absolutely no pain whatsoever.The staff, dentist and nurse were really friendly and professional, and clearly took safety (in relation to COVID 19) very seriously.Very very happy :-)

Had an emergency appointment here even though i wasn't a registered patient. Got me in within a few hours. The staff, right from the dentist, dental nurses and reception staff made me feel very comfortable and at ease.Very pleasant staff cant fault the treatment at all. Thank you

Excellent service. Received a warm welcome from staff despite what must be difficult circumstances for them Had received automated information on their Covid-19 procedurea beforehand, and felt extremely safe throughout. The dentist and the dental assistant were great at keeping me informed of what was happening at each stage during my trearment. Would highly recommnend.

I used to go to this dentist years ago and it was really good back then.I rang up today as a private patient and enquired if they did mercury filling removals and the receptionist was very obstructive and refused to say whether they did or not and said they could only give that information if I paid for a private consultation.Every other dentist I rang, private and NHS, gave me a straight and honest answer without the need for any consultation, so it is clear Moorside are just after your money.Avoid like the plague, unless you're the type of person who enjoys being ripped off.

Without a doubt, the best dental practice I've ever been registered with. Reception staff are always helpful and dentists and dental nurses and kind, caring, considerate and gentle. I am quite a nervous patient and can honestly say that I would not have been able to go through with some of the recent work I've had done if it wasn't for the patience and support of the dentist/dental nurse. I felt cared for and well-informed and am very happy with the result. I honestly couldn't recommend them any more highly!

I am very scared of the dentists but the staff, particularly, the practice nurses are exceptionally reassuring and kind from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I want to say a special thank you to the nurses Clare and Sarah (who were the nurses during both of my appointments), you made me feel very comfortable and were so kind. Really welcoming practice!

After doing quite a bit of research into dentists in the area I decided to settle on Moorside after seeing good reviews and I'm very glad I did. I had my first check up here today with Gethin and his assistant and honestly I dont think I've ever had such a professional and informative check up before, everything was explained in detail from various different options as well as what would be best and why. The check up was not rushed at all and I felt I had plenty of time to ask anything I was curious about and was given considerate and professional answers. I really think it's so rare nowadays to come across a service that is kind, comfortable, caring and professional but moorside has all these things nailed. Also the ladies at the front desk are welcoming, friendly as well as helpful.

Got an emergency appointment within an hour of being told I will receive a call, the lady on reception was so helpful and friendly and the dentist made sure I was as comfortable as could be and made sure I had all the necessary information.

Fantastic dentist.Had 5 teeth out today and didn't feel a thing.I worried myself and all for nothing.Two fantastic girls looked after me.all great staff so happy with my new teeth I can smile again.thank you all so much for looking after me for all the years you have.

I JUST WANTED TO SAY A MASSIVE THANK YOU FOR THE EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT I WAS ABLE TO GET ON THE 15TH JUNE WITH MY CHOSEN DENTIST DUE TO A CHUNK FALLING OUT OF MY FRONT TOOTH.I HAVE A PHOBIA OF NEEDLES AND REALLY STRUGGLE WITH DENTISTS. IT WAS DONE REALLY QUICKLY AND AS USUAL GETHIN AND HIS ASSISTANT WERE VERY CALMING AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AS THEY WENT ALONG. LOOKING AT IT WHEN I GOT HOME YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN I HAD A REPAIR TO MY FRONT TOOTH. THE STAFF ARE ALL LOVELY AND HELPFUL.EVEN THOUGH IT NOW TAKES 3 BUSES THERE AND BACK DUE TO WHERE I NOW LIVE I WOULD NOT CHANGE DENTISTS. THANKS SUE

I have always had a bit of a dental phobia and as such avoided dentists as much as possible. I couldn’t ignore the problems I was having so finally booked in. I can’t thank Gethin enough for not judging me, being so patient and reassuring with me while I was having meltdowns in the chair, and for coming up with an easy to manage treatment plan to get everything sorted out for me. He was especially good when my tooth was refusing to numb for a filling, giving more injections and as much time as I needed to get through the work. I can’t reccommend this practice highly enough, the staff are all lovely! My mouth and teeth feel better than they have in years and I don’t feel as self conscious about smiling anymore. Thank you all

I visited Moorside Dental for several fillings yesterday with Dr Hannah O’Sullivan . First time being at the dentist for myself in a very long time as I am a nervous patient. She made the whole process really easy and never hurt me, towards the end of the appointment I felt really relaxed in the chair which is a lot to say I was dreading having my teeth drilled!! I was really happy with the work and I thought it was reasonably affordable too considering how much was done. I won’t be nervous to come back for a check up next time at all now after such a trouble free experience. Highly recommend ⭐️
